Four Fall Updates from Cherokee Valley: Afternoon Game Packs, Limited Memberships and More

Our nine and 18- hole, 10 and 20-round Game Packs have been a big hit since we launched them a couple years ago. New for the fall and 2022, we’re rolling out Afternoon Game Packs offering golfers up to 25% savings.

Why Afternoon Game Packs? Typically, the “tee sheet” at almost any golf course, whether it is public, private or semi-private, is nearly always booked solid in the morning. Especially in this robust golf market and particularly on weekends. 

That stated, the afternoon is an amazing time to play golf in the fall, with late September temps in the mid-80s, October temps in the 70s and November temps in the 60s. What’s more, these are three of our driest months of the year, and our Bermuda grass usually stays green through mid-November. 

Speaking of Core 450, we’re excited to continue serving the community and want to thank everyone for helping make our first months of operation an amazing success. Currently, the restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and the bar stays open until 10 p.m. The Bistro Menu is offered Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and our new Cart Dash service (we bring the food and drink right to you on the golf course) is available Wednesday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

If you’ve followed the “golf news” lately, you know that we’re amid an industry boom and setting records for rounds played. That also applies to membership sales at private and semi-private golf and country clubs. 

Here at Cherokee Valley, we have an incredible nucleus of members that has been steadily growing over the past 18 months. Like most clubs, we have a “membership cap” in order to limit member rounds and maintain a high standard of tee time access, optimal conditions and expedient pace of play.

The way things are trending, we could be approaching that cap in the coming months. Unlike most memberships, membership at Cherokee Valley has many privileges both on-property and off-property. Our partnership with North Greenville University helps make this possible. And we’re pleased to announce that NGU’s Yount's Wellness Center is now open to Cherokee Valley members.
